What is the FTI?
The Foundation for Industrial Land (FTI) was created to support the development of companies in the industrial sector in Geneva. It acts as a facilitator to help businesses settle in strategic zones, while complying with the Regulation on Industrial and Mixed-Activity Zones (RZIAM) in force since May 31, 2023.

Industrial, craft, or technological activities: This concerns companies involved in the design, production, or transformation of tangible and intangible goods.
High-tech activities: These companies, although classified as tertiary in other contexts, are considered secondary here if they involve design, development, or manufacturing processes.

Non-industrial activities (administrative or training): These activities are eligible only if they are necessary for the operation of the main production activities.
Exemptions for certain services: Specific tertiary activities, such as cafes, fitness centers, nurseries, or services that reduce traffic and improve well-being, may be authorized upon request.
Each application is studied on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the RZIAM regulations.
